A Little About Me
My Specialties: Self-care practices for Athletes: including Meditation, Mental Performance,
Hi, I have been intrigued with human movement my entire life. I understand the power of breath, to leverage optimal movement and mental performance. and how they impact each other. I am educated in respiration, anatomy, physiology, movement science, mental performance and mindfulness meditation and coach from that education and experience. I empower my clients with self-discovery information tools, prevention tips and self-care techniques to manage aches and pains (both for the physical and the mental types of pain) in relation to sports. I design customized yoga, mobility(functional movement) and mental performance programs for those seeking limitless possibilities to uplevel how they can improve their game. I believe in breathing biomechanics and mental performance as a predominant training tool to complement how we do everything.
I have completed certifications and continually add-on education in Mental Performance Mastery, breath coaching, Functional Movement Systems, Certified Functional Strength Coaching, Mindfulness Meditation, Mind Based Stress Reduction and a Postural Restoration Institute (PRI) Practitioner. I am Tune Up Certified (Yoga Tune Up® Teacher, Roll Model® Method Practitioner, Body by Breath) since 2019 and a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists.
I graduated from Purdue University and prior to working in the global futures (commodities) industry and technology consulting - two low stress jobs ;) I was a gymnast and cheered for four sports throughout college. As I maneuvered through post college and work lives, I also raised four children. It was then that I realized I wanted to create a company that helps people perform at their highest potential. I created a movement and mental performance company, to provide competitive athletes with tools to adapt and exceed through the stressors of their careers for a more well-rounded approach to upleveling their lifestyle and performance.
